1. General Principles
Payments for mylexify subscriptions are processed by Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record (MoR) and is responsible for compliance with consumer laws in your country. Refunds are governed by Paddle's terms and applicable legislation.
2. Right of Withdrawal (14 days)
Under the European Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), you have the right to withdraw within 14 calendar days of the first charge, without giving a reason.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact support@mylexify.io within 14 days of the charge.
3. When Refunds Are Granted
- Within 14 days of the first charge (statutory right of withdrawal)
- Technical issues that prevented use of the service for >72 hours
- Double charge due to technical error
- Plan downgrade: the difference is refunded on a pro-rated basis
4. When Refunds Are NOT Granted
- Partial use of the subscription (e.g. cancellation mid-month)
- Dissatisfaction with AI content quality (subjective judgment)
- Forgetting to cancel — cancellation is done from account settings
- Accounts suspended for Terms of Service violations
5. Request Process
To request a refund:
- Send an email to support@mylexify.io with subject: "Refund Request"
- Include: account email, charge date, reason for request
- We will respond within 2 business days
- Paddle processes the refund within 5-10 business days
The refund is returned to the original payment method.
6. Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing. Access to your plan continues until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation.
